Fourth visit to gurudeva in Philippines soon

I am happy today. I got the VISA to Philippines. I am leaving for Delhi tomorrow afternoon. From there day after tomorrow night I will fly to Philippines.

I have been there three times before, it should have been easier to get VISA but it wasn’t. Because this time I don’t have a “job”. You know what I mean.

Let me confess what all I did to get the VISA. There is field in VISA form where I need to fill up what I am doing. It requires company name and designation. If self-employed they needed company/ organization registration details. You can understand my dilemma.

Guess what I filled up there.

Company/Org Name: My Wings of Love

Designation: Webmaster

I could not dare to write Labourer. Mainly because I did not want to face the questions from the agent as well as from amabassy and I was afraid it getting rejected.

All fields are mandatory hence, even if I write labourer what would I write in company/org name?? :)

For company registration, I submitted domain registration detail. Since hotel booking was needed, first I applied VISA without it. The application was turned down. They insisted on a Hotel booking. I booked room in America Hotel, Angeles City, where we (Gurudeva and his disciples) all plan to meet and I requested the hotel to send me booking confirmation email and what I get is following:

——-

DEAR Sir,
Thank you very much for your email, yes your reservation is confirm.
Looking forward to see you soon.
Sincerely yours,
Myrna

The VISA agent advised me not to submit this as his apprehension was that the visa will be turned down again as this does not have any info about the hotel or the room. There was no time either for another try. The agent had to book hotel somewhere in Philippines, which will be cancelled and I need to pay one night charge for it.

Well I feel I have not violated any yama niyam here; god knows better.

You wonder how am I financing my travel when my current earning is miniscule? Well thanks to gratuity money I got from my last company, for my five plus years service there, which helped me to take this decision.
